His Excellency Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi is the UAE Minister of Investment and serves as the Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer of ADQ.
His Excellency holds the position of Chairman of Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA), AD Ports Group and Emirates Nuclear Energy Company (ENEC). He is also the Second Vice Chairman of Aldar Properties.
In addition, His Excellency serves as a member of the Board of Directors at Emirates Investment Authority, Abu Dhabi Pension Fund, Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Technology Council, Al Dahra Holding and XRG.
Prior to joining ADQ, His Excellency garnered extensive experience across multiple sectors in his tenure with Mubadala Investment Company, where he held several investment management positions covering sectors such as metals and mining, real estate, hospitality, infrastructure, technology, and agriculture.
His Excellency has experience in banking and finance from his tenures with Union National Bank, Abu Dhabi Ship Building and the General Secretariat of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.
His Excellency holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from United Arab Emirates University.

Hamad Al Hammadi

Hamad Al Hammadi is Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer of ADQ. Hamad is responsible for the growth and development of companies within the Energy & Utilities, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Sustainable Manufacturing, and Infrastructure & Critical Minerals clusters. He ensures these entities align with ADQ's mandate of unlocking value and generating sustainable financial returns for Abu Dhabi.
Hamad is Chairman of EMSTEEL and Emirates Water and Electricity Company (EWEC), Vice Chairman of Emirates Nuclear Energy Company (ENEC), and serves as a board member of Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA), TA’ZIZ and Modon Holding.
Prior to his current role, Hamad was Chief Executive Officer of Energy & Utilities and Sustainable Manufacturing at ADQ. Previously, he was Head of Greenfield Investments in the utilities vertical at Mubadala Investment Company, where he successfully spearheaded high-profile projects across the utilities, industry and financial services sectors.


Mansour AlMulla

Mansour Mohamed AlMulla is Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer of ADQ. Mansour is responsible for the growth and development of companies within the Food & Agriculture, Transport & Logistics, Financial Services and Real Estate Investments clusters. He ensures these entities align with ADQ's mandate of unlocking value and generating sustainable financial returns for Abu Dhabi.
Mansour is Vice Chairman of Etihad Aviation Group, and serves as a board member of Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA), AD Ports Group, Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), Abu Dhabi Aviation, Etihad Rail and Advanced Military Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Centre LLC.
Prior to his current role, he was Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at EDGE Group. Previously, he was Chief Investment Officer for Alternative Investments and M&A at ADQ and also served as the CFO of the Petroleum & Petrochemicals Platform at Mubadala.
Mansour holds a Bachelor’s degree from Portland State University in Oregon, USA.


Bashar Al-Rousan
Bashar Al-Rousan
Bashar Al-Rousan is Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer, he leads the legal, compliance, risk and audit functions across the Group and also serves as Secretary to the Board and the Executive Committee. Bashar was instrumental in establishing a specialized in-house legal team, providing strategic, robust and pragmatic advice to safeguard ADQ’s interests and those of its portfolio companies. He ensures the highest standards of legal compliance within and across the holding group.
Prior to his current role, Bashar served as General Counsel of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, where he led the Legal and Government Affairs Department. He was also a Director at the Legal & Risk Management Affairs Unit of the Executive Affairs Authority of Abu Dhabi. Before his roles in government, Bashar worked as a corporate and commercial lawyer at Shell EP International, and globally recognized law firms, including Allen & Overy LLP and Simmons & Simmons.
Bashar holds a bachelor’s degree in law from Jordan and is a qualified solicitor of England and Wales.


Anas Jawdat Albarguthi
Anas Albarguthi is Group Chief Operating Officer. He leads a broad portfolio of strategic functions that are central to the Group’s organizational effectiveness and people agenda. Since joining in June 2021, he has overseen human capital, portfolio people strategy, corporate services, procurement, corporate communications, and engagement — driving cross-functional alignment, institutional resilience, and enterprise-wide transformation.
Under his leadership, these functions have played a critical role in supporting the Group’s performance, integration, and long-term value creation across the portfolio.
With over 20 years of leadership experience across government, semi-government, and private sectors in the UAE and the UK, Anas brings deep expertise in corporate governance, legal advisory, portfolio management, and organizational transformation. His career spans roles that have shaped national capabilities and institutional modernization.
He currently serves as Vice Chairman of Abu Dhabi Ship Building and sits on the Board of Trustees of Khalifa University, reflecting his commitment to national development and knowledge leadership.
His previous roles include Assistant Secretary General at the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council, Executive Director at the Emirates Meteorology Institute, and Senior Investment Manager at Mubadala’s Aerospace Division. He also served as Chairman of Abu Dhabi Media Network and Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA).
Anas holds a Master’s Degree in International & Comparative Business Law from London Guildhall University.


Dr. Jaap Kalkman
Dr. Jaap Kalkman is Group Chief Investment Officer of ADQ. Jaap is responsible for identifying compelling investment opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and restructuring efforts, across the Energy & Utilities, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Sustainable Manufacturing and Infrastructure & Critical Minerals clusters.
Jaap is Chairman of Arcera, Vice Chairman of E7 Group, and serves as a board member of Etihad Airways Group and Plenary Group.
Prior to his current role, Jaap was the Chief Transformation Officer at ADQ, managing the company’s new ventures, digital transformation and portfolio optimization. Jaap is an industry expert with 25 years of experience in Management Consulting and Private Equity. Previously, he served as Managing Partner and Global Head of Energy and Utilities at Arthur D Little, and as Senior Partner for the Middle East, Turkey and Africa at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. Prior to that, he worked for Arcapita as Director and Head of Infrastructure in Bahrain and Singapore, and for McKinsey & Company as Managing Partner in the Philippines and Bahrain.
Jaap holds a PhD in Theoretical Physics from the University of Utrecht, where he also attained degrees in General Philosophy, Physics and Mathematics.

Gil Adotevi is Group Chief Investment Officer of ADQ. Gil is responsible for identifying compelling investment opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and restructuring efforts, across the Food & Agriculture, Transport & Logistics, Financial Services, and Real Estate Investments clusters.
Gil is Chairman of Unifrutti Group and serves as a board member of Agthia Group, Al Dahra Holding, Louis Dreyfus Company, and LuLu International Holdings.
Prior to his current role, Gil held the position of Chief Executive Officer of Food & Agriculture at ADQ. Previously, Gil was Senior Vice President at Mubadala Investment Company, where he was responsible for the company’s investments in Food and Agribusiness, Metals, Mining, and Utilities units. Earlier in his career, Gil held various roles in investment banking and investment management at RBC Capital Markets and State Street in Canada.
Gil holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and is a graduate of the London Business School’s MBA program.


Louay Abou Chanab

Louay Abou Chanab is Group Chief Digital and AI Officer. He leads ADQ’s efforts across digital strategy, data & AI, and cybersecurity, driving transformation at scale. With a focus on emerging technologies and future-readiness, he also oversees innovation, research and development, and tech scouting, identifying, and incubating next-generation solutions for the Group. Additionally , he spearheads business technology services, ensuring the delivery of robust, agile, and high-impact digital capabilities across the organization.
Prior to his current role, Louay served as an Advisor in the Office of Strategic Affairs at the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, and as an Investment Director at the Emirates Investment Authority. He has more than 25 years’ management and consulting experience and has held prominent positions in both the public and private sectors, leading work across Southeast Asia, the Middle East and North Africa.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the Lebanese American University and an MBA from Ecole Supérieure des Affaires, Lebanon and ESCP-EAP, France.


Mohamed Kaissi
Mohamed Kaissi
Mohamed Kaissi is the Group Chief Strategy Officer. He leads the corporate strategy, corporate development, strategic projects, research and economics, sustainable investing, government and sovereign affairs functions across the Group.
Mohamed is a board member of Odeabank.
Before joining ADQ, Mohamed served as the Director of the Economic and Energy Affairs Department at the Executive Affairs Authority, where he advised the Abu Dhabi Government on formulating economic and energy policies.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Law from California State University.


Marcos de Quadros
Marcos de Quadros
Marcos de Quadros joined the Group in March 2019. He leads the accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, tax, and M&A functions.
He currently serves as a board member for Louis Dreyfus Company, Abu Dhabi Airports, Etihad Aviation Group and AlDahra.
Previously, Marcos served as Group Chief Financial Officer for the AW Rostamani Group and as Chief Financial Officer for Al Futtaim GE Finance in the UAE. His earlier career in Brazil included serving as Chief Financial Officer of GE Capital Bank in Brazil and other finance roles in Banco Itau, Merrill Lynch and ABN Amro Securities.
Marcos holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Mackenzie University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Sao Paulo State University. He completed postgraduate studies in accounting and controllership at São Paulo State University. He also completed the Wharton Advanced Management Program and the INSEAD International Directors Programme.
